Training
Live courses in project and program management, delivery leadership and AI for project teams, taught by practitioners who do this work for clients every week. Open cohorts for individuals, private cohorts for organizations.
Built from live work, practised in the room
No slide marathons. Every session ends with learners having done the thing on a real example.
- Live online or on site, in groups of eight to forty, so every learner practises and gets feedback
- Taught by senior practitioners who run programs and PMOs for clients
- Course materials, templates and worked examples that learners keep
- A learner evaluation at the end of every course, read by the course lead and acted on
- A signed record of completion for every learner, stating the course, dates and hours of instruction
- A 30-day follow-up session to keep the skill alive
Eight courses, scheduled as cohorts fill
Open cohorts run live online. Every course also runs privately for organizations, tailored to their projects.
Project Management Essentials
New and aspiring project managers
The whole life of a project in two days: define it, plan it, schedule it, manage its risks and people, close it well.
- Write a one-page charter a sponsor will sign
- Build a realistic schedule and a risk register with owners
- Run a status meeting that produces decisions
- Close a project and capture what it taught
Leading Delivery
Experienced project managers and team leads
For people who already run projects and now need to lead them: stakeholders, negotiation, recovery and judgment under pressure.
- Map stakeholders by influence and need, and plan each conversation
- Deliver bad news early, with options and a recommendation
- Re-plan a slipping project without losing the team
- Coach the people who report to you
Agile and Hybrid Delivery in Practice
Project managers, product owners and PMO staff
How to decide which parts of a project run predictively and which adaptively, and how to report both to one steering committee.
- Choose a delivery approach by uncertainty and cost of change
- Run iterations inside a milestone plan
- Report adaptive work to a traditional board honestly
- Handle a velocity that does not support the date
Program Management Foundations
Senior project managers moving into program roles
Benefits, governance and integration across many projects, taught on a program the group builds together.
- Write a benefits map that ties every project to an outcome
- Design governance leaders will actually use
- Manage cross-project dependencies, not hope for them
- Run a program board meeting
Risk Management for Projects
Project managers and planners
Identify, analyse and respond to risk in a way that changes the plan, not just the register.
- Run a risk workshop that finds the real threats
- Score and prioritise risks consistently
- Plan responses with owners, triggers and budgets
- Use schedule risk analysis where the data supports it
AI for Project Teams
Any project team adopting AI assistants
Hands-on: status drafting, risk triage, meeting preparation and planning support with AI, inside clear rules.
- Brief an AI assistant with the BRIEF method
- Automate the clerical work and keep the judgment
- Check AI output before relying on it
- Apply a two-page AI use policy to real project work
The BRIEF Method
Anyone who writes with AI at work
Background, Role, Intent, Expectations, Format, then Review. The firm’s method for getting executive-grade work from AI, taught as a skill.
- Turn a vague request into a complete brief
- Set expectations that stop AI inventing facts
- Choose the format before the words
- Review, improve the brief, run it again
Governing AI-Assisted Projects
Executives, sponsors and steering committees
What leadership should ask of any project that uses AI in its delivery, and what the answers should be.
- Seven questions for any AI-assisted project
- Decide what AI may never do on your projects
- Read an AI-assisted status report critically
- Set an AI use policy that teams follow
In-house cohorts
Any course on this page can run inside your organization, on site or live online, adapted to your real documents and situations under NDA where needed. Most organizations start with AI for Project Teams or Leading Delivery and add the BRIEF Method as a half-day for the wider team.
If something is not right, we fix it
Every learner can raise a concern about a course, a facilitator or the materials, and get a written answer. We acknowledge within two business days and resolve within ten. The full process, including cancellations and transfers, is published.
Before you book
How do I join an open course?
Tell us which course you want by email or through the contact form. Cohorts run live online and are scheduled as groups fill; we confirm dates, times and the fee in writing before you commit.
Do you issue a record of completion?
Yes. Every learner who completes a course receives a signed record of completion stating the course, the dates and the hours of instruction.
Can my organization run a course privately?
Yes. Every course on this page runs in-house, on site or live online, tailored to your projects and documents. See corporate workshops and training.
What if I cannot attend after booking?
Up to ten business days before the start, we transfer you to a later cohort or refund in full. Closer to the start, we transfer you to the next cohort. Our learner support policy has the detail.
How are courses priced?
Open courses are priced per seat and in-house courses per cohort. We quote in writing after a short conversation about who is attending and what they need to be able to do afterwards.
Tell us who needs to learn what, and by when.
A short call about who is in the room, what they must be able to do afterwards, and what gets in the way today.
